Topic: What Are Psychological Effects of Technology Addiction?

Describe a topic that you would like to study. Clearly explain why this topic is of personal interest to you. Reviewing the four combinations of worldviews, designs, and research methods in Figure 1.1 in the textbook, describe how your topic of interest aligns with at least one of the philosophical worldviews, research approaches, and designs. Identify whether your research will be adopting a quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approach. Please use this  template

Instructions

Step 1:  Choose  and describe a topic that you would like to study. The topic can either be this class only or one that you may consider for your capstone research project or thesis. 

Step 2:  Clearly explain why you are interested in the topic.

Step 3: Review the four combinations of worldviews, designs, and research methods in Figure 1.1 in the textbook.

Step 4: Describe how your topic aligns with each of the philosophical worldviews, research approaches, and designs.

Step 5: What research approach (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods) is best suitable for this topic and why?

Step 6: Provide a tentative outline of the issues to be addressed in the research.

Length  and Format: Your response should be about 500 words, and submitted as a Word document, 12 points font size, and double spaced. References, including in-text citations, should be APA Style. Like any other writing assignment, it will be checked on Turnitin for academic integrity. 

Grade: 50 (Based on this rubric.)
