Think of it as a skeleton that you will “flesh out” when you write your first draft. The more detail you include in the outline, the more likely you will develop a strong first draft. · You must write full sentences for the hook, the thesis statement, the topic/transition sentences, and the restatement of thesis.
· Supporting points and details do not need to be full sentences. Think of them as bullet points that you will elaborate on when you write the first draft of your paper.
· Any information that you take from your textbook or peer-reviewed articles, must include a citation in APA style, even if you’ve put the information in your own words (which you’re highly encouraged to do). Make sure to also include your own original thoughts throughout since you are trying to demonstrate YOUR interpretation of the academic material.
