This source is not biased. The language originally is in Chinese but translate into English. It was published on August 7, 2011, 7 years ago, not a new news. Xinhua is a powerful publisher in China, so the data is accurate.

The purpose of the source is to inform reader about how many couples chose to get married on QiXi festival. This information will be useful because I want to talk about a point about how the QiXi is valuable to us.

It’s not biased. It was published on August 14, 2014, 4 years ago. I found this article from UW library, so it has more credits and more reliable.

It’s a tertiary source. Contains the history and the interviews from others.

The purpose of the source is to inform readers about the history and customs about Qixi festival. It can help me to introduce to the audiences about the history and customs. When I was asking them last Thursday, two of them said they want to know about the history of Qixi festival because they don’t know anything about it.

This article discusses Valentine’s Day traditions all around the world. Its contains many countries like Denmark, France, South Korea, Wales, China, England, Philippines, Italy, Brazil and South Africa.

It’s a secondary source because the author doesn’t experience them.

The purpose of the source is to inform people about 10 different countries about their Valentine’s Day. Now it’s not so useful, but the articles I found before were all published by Chinese publishes and this one was written by a foreigner so I just look how people who are not a Chinses, their view of Qixi.

Specific Purpose: To inform my audience about Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day).

Central idea: The history of Qixi festival, customs from the ancient to modem China.
