Annotated bibliography: In this article, the author Eric Rosenberg, he talked about four obstacles for electric car will ultimately replace petrol car at this moment, firstly, the cost to purchase an electric car is almost 50% expensive than petrol car. Secondly, the time spending in charging the electric, at this moment, it normally takes 45mins to fully charge up an electric car, verse, it takes only 4 minute to fuel a full tank with petrol car. Thirdly, the battery life of electric car, in the study, it said that a battery in electric car will decay over time, which made the range of traveling decrease in the long run. Lastly, the convenience, because the trend of electric car is starting up in these years, the coverage of charging stations are built in nationwide, there are not enough stations in suburban or none, which will discourage resident to buy them.

Annotated bibliography: In this article, the author Stephen Leahy proposed that electric car will gradually adopt by American as well as everyone in the worldwide by 2040, since Europe has already passed a bill to bar any petrol car on the road after 2050, which it drive the car manufacturer to invest into electric car, to create a Europe that is free of emission. She also give an concept called” slow-adoption scenario” and” Fast- adoption scenario”, that mean that we are experiencing slow adoption scenario in U.S, because each year there are only 10-20% car purchasing are electric car, versus in Europe, they are having 30-40% rise in electric car in the road, by end of 2040, she predict that there are going to be 80% of the car on road will be electric under fast adoption scenario in Europe.

Annotated bibliography: In this article, the author Wal van Lierop are writing to persuade people who are not believe in Electric car will be the future, he called these group of people as pessimist, because he said that there people are underestimate the power of exponential growth on the electric car, he listed example like internet, smartphone and social media, those things are suddenly prevailing in the society, as well as electric car, they should be embrace this is the future. I think this article is useful to my research, the author gives a very insightful perspective to support the claim

Annotated bibliography: in this research was conducted by Institution of Mechanical Engineers, they were researched on new car registration, they stated that In July, owners registered 161,997 new cars – a fall of 9.3% in petrol car compare to last year. However, demand for fueled vehicles– including fully-electric and hybrid models – jumped by 64.9% as people bought 8,871. l found this from UCSC library research, l think that this research can prove the claim that electric car sale are actually getting better over time, the demanding is growing.

Annotated bibliography: in this article, the author Supriya, R, she was comparing the cost of using electric car and petrol car, under the rising gas price at India, she noticed that since the gas price was roaring in India, it drive people in India to find an alternative way to travel, like getting an electric car or hybrid to lower the cost of commute. She mentioned that getting electric car are being more efficient and help address pollution in India.
