ERP PROJECT PROPOSAL

ERP PROJECT PROPOSAL 1

Prolity Constructions Company.

ERP Project Business Proposal.

April 20, 2018.

1. Introduction.

Established in 1995, Prolity Constructions has provided contracting, engineering construction and project management services to several clients in Sydney. We are committed to providing efficient, affordable, sustainable and cost-effective services with the best quality. Our company has in recent times gained a positive reputation attracting a larger base of clients. This has seen the expansion of the company’s operations with the capacity to run multiple parallel projects in the last 2 years.

2. Business Problem.

With this expansion, Prolity Constructions has since witnessed an increase in business operations. The office has been relying on the legacy system platform which has proven to be ineffective in handling our increased activities. As a result, over the last 1 year the workforce has found it difficult to manage the company’s communication, finance and purchasing operations. Communication systems are as well insufficient with little response to our increased customer approach. High maintenance costs of the system and decreased client satisfaction has been observed over the last 10 months. Prolity Constructions should shift to a modern ERP system so as to see to the realization of the company’s mission and vision.

3. Recommended Option.

The company requires a new ERP system that offers better efficiency and with which all staff will adapt to within a brief period of training. It should be easy to transfer data and functions from the old platform into this new platform. We recommend the integration of Jonas Premier, a simple to use cloud-based platform specifically designed for construction companies.

4. Justification.

Jonas Premier is reviewed as a powerful system that offers accounting, cost projection and document management solutions under one platform. Listed below are the benefits this system offers:

1) It is cloud based hence readily available from anywhere with access to the internet.

2) It is cost effective since it requires no hardware and servers to be installed

3) It is integrated with Microsoft Office for execution of company files and documents.

4) It is easier to interact with clients over the internet.

This platform will ensure the smooth running Prolity Constructions operations with efficiency on reducing costs and saving of time.
