Project Proposal: Initiating and Planning.
Summary of “Tame HIV” project.
As to the Global (2019), the society for quite a while has seen the number of people that die of HIV and aids increase, and it is just due to ignorance. The project is named "Tame HIV," an open title and objective of the project. The people have failed to live with the people living with the virus, human immunodeficiency virus, which has contributed to lots of stigmas. The neighboring hospital has decided to be the front runners in helping the people know of living and management of the virus from being disastrous to society. The adolescents, more so the youth, have also been considered so vulnerable to the spread and the effects of the virus, making the need to protect them from contracting the disease. The virus has been considered a threat among people with low and middle income; hence, it needs to come to the people rescue. (Patel et al. .2018)
Project goals and three project objectives.
Goals of the project
The goal is to reduce the rate of infection of HIV among the people in the low classes and middle classes in the community. The project aims to spread information and the management of living with the virus among the community's people. The project also aims to reduce the rate of stigma to the infected and the community's affected members.
The objective of the project
The projects target the distribution of brochures that will help people learn of the effects and management of HIV and Aids. The project will also distribute many condoms to the youth to ensure that they practice safe sex. The project will also have vans from the local hospitals testing the youths freely to ensure that they know of their status as the first means of trying to tame the virus. There is also a target of distributing the free ARVs, which are applicable in the taming or enhancing the adherence of the effects of HIV on a human body (Li et al., .2017).
Key customer(s) and at least two stakeholders for your project.
The key customers include the persons infected with HIV. The people affected by HIV and the ones who are not yet infected or affected by the virus. The project's key stakeholders include the community members, the local hospitals, the ministry of health, and UNICEF.
Key milestones and/or deliverables for your project.
An HIV intolerant community in which people should not fear the virus because it is manageable. An HIV free community in the future is also a deliverable for the project. A safe society is free of diseases and full of knowledge on how to manage the disease.
A High-level timeline that includes key tasks and deadlines
The project is supposed to be running for one year, starting from January to December. The project will educate society and ensure that people learn about HIV and how people can live. Printing of the brochures and the T-shirts of the project will be done to pass the information. Billboards will be created to allow the passers-by to have any information about the project.
The project’s overall cost and any key staffing and non-staffing resources needed.
The project is approximated to cost $ 9176256, which will include the hiring of the vans and the paying of the specialists like the nurses, designers, and the distributors of the resources like the ARVs and T-shirts. There will be a need for books to account for the numbers that have been served.
