Project PowerPoint Assignment (4%) In week #7 as an assignment, you are to prepare and submit a PowerPoint presentation that discusses either your CAFR or NFP entity's respective CAFR / Form 990. Additional instructions will be provided in the assignment folder.

Other Important Information The instructor is not permitted to “pre-read” or “pre-review” papers prior to papers being officially submitted for grading. Government accounting is covered in detail in week #7, and NFP accounting in week #8. These reports concentrate on forms, not transactional accounting, and are due respectively in the week before each transactional topic is covered. These papers require research outside the class environment, and do not require knowledge of the transactional topics covered in weeks #7 and #8. In fact, Rogers and the professor’s lecture notes are not to be used as cited references. These papers serve in part as an introduction to the topics of government and NFP accounting, which is why they are required prior to work on transactional accounting and rules.
