A project to introduce myself

Project 3: PowerPoint Presentation of Self-Introduction

Purpose of the Project:

This project has a two-fold purpose:

1. To help you have a better understanding of Microsoft PoewerPoint 2016 and the applications.

2. To provide you with an opportinuty to complete a slide presentation of self-introduction using Microsoft PowerPoint 2016.

Requirements of the Project:

▪ Each student will individually complete a PowerPoint presentation about himself/herself. It should at least contain the following information:

o Family and educational backgrounds o Major or intended major o Future plans/goals o Life pursuits o Hobbies o Strengths o Weaknesses o and so on.

▪ Each student will turn in a copy of the PowerPoint slides on Blackboard. ▪ Each student’s project should meet the following requirements:

1. Has a title slide. 2. Has a minimum of 13 content slides. 3. Has animation effects, visual/sound effects, and slide transition effects. 4. Has a hyperlink pointng to an outside source, e.g., a website or a video clip 5. Has appropriate picture(s). 6. The content is presented in a logical order. 7. The typeface is legible and easy to read. 8. The design and layout should contribute to the effectiveness of the slides.

Grading Criteria:

Grades will be based on:

✓ The organization, content, quality, and clarity of your PowerPoint (50%). ✓ The oral presentation of your PowerPoint (50%).

This Project 3 accounts 4% of your final grade.
