Question Exercise-Digital Technology

Question 1

American technologists and designers started creating digital technology in the middle of the twentieth century. The German mathematician Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, who developed a binary computer system in the seventeenth century, served as an inspiration for their methods (Luigina 159-169). His discovery influenced such numerical codes as American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII), that specified things with numbers.

Question 2

Tools were the initial forms of technology. The telegraph and the analytical engine were among the earliest devices built using digital technology. The increasing usage of personal computers makes digital technology cost-effective. The inventor of it was Claude Shannon. Mathematician at Bell Labs, Claude The Third Industrial Revolution began between the late 1950s and the late 1970s. Digital technology replaces traditional, electromechanical, and electrical technology (Qasim et al. 1099-1109). Not just computer systems but also mobile phones, laptops, speakers, and other devices.

Question 3

People who are very technical frequently accept new technologies early and enthusiastically. They install any exciting software and poke around in all its hidden corners. However, because they constantly search for the next excitement, tech-obsessed consumers seldom develop long-term devoted customer relationships. Therefore, you must be ready to continuously provide attractive features and content if you expect a steady flow of Tech-Obsessed users to use your digital services. These folks utilize digital technology regularly primarily due to their enthusiasm for new technical concepts and functionalities.

People who are tech-active tend to be in their mid-30s to early 50s and attempt to accomplish everything online, including grocery shopping, booking flights, and scheduling doctor appointments. These folks seldom visit bank branches and would rather interact with service providers online. User experience is crucial to draw in the tech-savvy generation (UX) (Amanda, 2015). As long as they can continue to enjoy the experience, they will become clients and continue to be devoted. Many members of this group rely on digital technology because they think it completes tasks more quickly, saves much time compared to doing things manually, and costs less than moving to another area to get certain services.

Some individuals, in particular, have no interest in digital technology. Individuals of various ages, particularly those who are not very tech-savvy, are hesitant to depart from the "tried and true" traditions of the past. They either do not comprehend it or do not believe it. They can inquire, "What is wrong with using a phone conversation with an average human? The Tech-Reluctant often does not worry about a social presence; if they do, there is just one available—typically Facebook. Tech-Reluctant individuals can be convinced to utilize particular digital platforms, minimum for basic chores like monitoring their financial account balances, topping off their data package, and settling the electricity bill, with the right encouragement and enough contact.

Question 4

Companies of all sizes benefit from digital transformation because it can update outdated procedures, quicken workflows, bolster security, and improve profitability. Conversely, those with little to no expertise might potentially gain from digital technology. This claim is reinforced by the idea that companies cannot employ digital technology to run their businesses and automate production procedures to supply services with quality and efficiency. Assuming that a system will automatically be less prejudiced when not provided access to confidential classifications, like race, is an instance of computational digital technology bias(Avi and Tucker 4-40). The truth is that even when the protected classes are excluded from the investigation, racial prejudice still exists in all applications of digital technology.

Question 5

The use of digital technology to significantly increase an enterprise's productivity or impact is a hot issue for businesses all over the world. In order to transform customer connections, organizational operations, and product attributes, executives across all sectors must improve their usage of traditional technology like ERP and digital advancements like analytics, mobility, social networking sites, and intelligent embedded systems. In addition, the speed with which digital technology revolutionized the media sector over the past ten years should serve as a lesson to other leaders who wish to apply technology more effectively.
