Program of Study: My program of study is PHD in Forensic Psychology.
Social Problem: Gender inequality is among the most common social problems in the United States. It is a situation in which men and women are not treated equally. It is a result of differences in socially constructed gender roles (unicef, 2021). For instance, women tend to lag in wages as well as top leadership positions held.
Qualitative Research Problem: The scholarly community does not know that though there are advances that have been made during the women's movement, gender inequality is still a problem for the ladies that seek leadership opportunities in the defense sector.
Qualitative Research Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study is to understand the way females deal with gender inequality and how they perceive their lack of opportunity to achieve leadership roles.
Qualitative Research Question:
How do ladies perceive the barrier to their professional advancement in the defense sector?
How do ladies deal with gender inequality?
Quantitative Research Purpose: The qualitative study aims at analyzing how the gender equality patterns in workplaces are connected with mental health
Quantitative Research Question:
How the patterns of gender equality at workplaces are related to psychological distress?
