    Purpose:    This  assignment  is  provide  you  with  practice  in  drafting  parts  of   resolutions  and  to  help  you  focus  on  the  specific  actions  that  you'd  like  to  see  taken   by  the  committee  at  the  conference.       Assignment:    You  need  to  draft  five  preambulatory  clauses  and  five  operative   clauses  that  you  would  like  to  potentially  see  included  in  any  draft  resolutions  that   are  written  at  the  conference.    These  do  not  need  to  all  fit  together,  they  can  be   stand  along  clauses  that  have  specific  content  /  details  that  your  country  feels   strongly  about.    You  need  five  for  each  topic  area.     Grading:     -­‐   5  points  for  thoughtful,  logical,  specific  clauses  

-­‐   3  points  for  vague  op  clauses,  or  clauses  that  are  not  accurate  to  your   country's  position.
