CHE 432 Assignment 3
The assignment that I will be doing next is the third assignment this fall semester in the class of Chemical engineering CHE 432 Which is called chemical engineering design taught by professor Doctor Veronica Burrows. This is the third bug report that is due on the 15 of October at 6 am of 2018. This report will assist and help me learn all of the learning objectives that are stated in the assignment handout given in blackboard under the assignment 3 folders. There are about seven learning objectives for this assignment and my goal is to achieve all of them as well as a good grade to help me pass this class.
Assignment 3 has many purposes that will serve as the basis of learning the materials and objectives and targets that are given in this class where it will help us fully understand how to operate and work on a process flow diagram on CHEMCAD which as software to design flowcharts. My goal is to achieve a very high grade in this course which is chemical engineering process design CHE 432 and this assignment will help me in achieving that objective. I also except to learn the fundamentals of designing a process flow diagram from scratch and this is what I am looking forward to and my main goal for this assignment. The Professor, Doctor Veronica Burrows has set seven different and main objectives for this assignment which were to apply things that we learned from our old chemical engineering classes like introduction to chemical engineering till what we learned in Chemical engineering reactor design which I personally think will have a huge impact on our knowledge for this assignment where each student will have to recall that knowledge to accomplish this class. To be able to understand and do chemical engineering designs and understand the economic potential of that design are two important goals that our professor Veronica Burrows has set for us. Being able to obtain and the costs of different materials and equipment from various serious is going to be a tough goal to hit but this assignment was designed to be tough. Working and developing flow diagrams is to me the most important goal out of all of the seven goals because it’s the building blocks for us undergraduates to become professional engineers.
For this assignment, which to be is going to be the toughest I will need to bring all of my skills together in order to achieve the score I want to get in this class which is achieve the highest score possible and to do that I would need my strong organizational skills because I need to divide up my time to work on this assignment without falling back in other classes. My organizational skills are the best set of skills I have where I like to finish everything early rather than later. Some concepts that I will need to bring back are my chemical engineering thermodynamics as well as chemical engineering rector design and chemical engineering separation concepts. All those classes will contribute to help me accomplish this third assignment of this semester.
Some strengths that I plan to draw upon are my strength to write up fast and learn how to work on an application on a fast manner because I am a fast learner in my opinion. I like to learn new stuff as well. Some weakness I would like to overcome is my weakness to be distracted which in my opinion is very hard to overcome but I have to overcome it to achieve my goals. I think this assignment will definitely be beneficial for me and my future where I will be a future chemical engineer.

CHE 432 Assignment 3
The most important things I learned in this third assignment in Chemical engineering CHE 432 Which is called chemical engineering design taught by professor Doctor Veronica Burrows is how rewording it is to be alchemical engineer. This is the third big report that is due on the 15 of October at 6 am of 2018. This report have assisted and helped me to learn all of the learning objectives that are stated in the assignment handout given in blackboard under the assignment 3 folders. There are about seven learning objectives for this assignment and my goal was to achieve all of them as well as a good grade to help me pass this class.
Assignment 3 had many approaches done by myself that worked and there also so many assignments that did not work. This is all because I tried many approaches. One approach that did work in fact was that My organization skills which really saved me a lot of time so I can manage doing this report as well as doing my other reports in my other classes. Something that I found useful during this assignment was reading the discussion board that is in this classes black board in my asu. The discussion board really helped me because I faced a lot of similar challenges that other students faced and by sharing the information about the challenge and how we overcame that challenge I feel that I have learned a lot and saved even more time than what I initially thought that I would save. Some difficulties I faced was understanding the old file about the student contest that was very difficult to see and understand. This was really very hard to overcome but printing papers of the objectives of each task really helped me with overcoming those difficulties.
Working on CHEMCAD was a whole other story where in the beginning I could not even run as system correctly but after watching so many tutorials and understand how to actually draw and design process flow charts on CHEMCAD I discovered how fun it was to do so and this made me very happy because you rarely find an assignment that you enjoy doing.
My learnings from this assignment matched the learning objectives set my our Professor Veronica burrows where I used and recalled old materials learnt from pervious Chemical engineering classes. I also learned how to understand and work an a software such as CHEMCAD. I hope the upcoming assignment has also CHEMCAD because in my opinion I think I need more practice while studying for my class.
