QUESTION:

As a DNP prepared nurse, you are trained in skills such as analyzing trends, addressing social health determinants, and disease surveillance to determine the hotspots of a particular health concern. Explore the role of the DNP prepared nurse in the provision of population health services as they relate to epidemiology.

Discuss the trends of one population health disease in your community with consideration of social health determinants, distributions, health disparities, morbidity, and mortality. Develop at least one multidisciplinary intervention to address the issue.
