Part 1-Thesis Statement

After the 20th century civil war, America was a dominant force in all international relations. Some people have argued that the functions of United States military were as world’s police for example in Panama Canal to fight drugs and Iraq to fight terrorism. The assignment will cover some of the international events in the past ten years which can be traced back to the civil war foreign policy and the ways in which the shift resulted and the consequences that American faces as a result of its status of police officers of the world.

1st paragraph

· The change of US policy after September 11th, 2011

· After Bush assumed office, he initiated Bush’s missile shield towards encountering international missiles in Iran.

2nd paragraph

· The president changed the direction of the foreign policy with the speech on War on Terror.

· Bush stated that the country must direct its resources using intelligence enforcement and laws to deal with war around the globe.

· The speech pressured all nations to stand together with the terrorist groups or be on the side of America (Aleksoski and Karagjuleski, 2015).

3rd paragraph

· The growth of terrorism on international levels brought significant changes to the US military.

4th paragraph

· US invasion of Iraq in 2003 thus broadening its policies strategies

· The reason for US military attack in Iraq (Buel, 2000).

5th paragraph

· The role of US humanitarian in the foreign policy

· The results of lack of National Guard to provide protection for humanitarian programs in Iraq

6th paragraph

· The US military war protection on drugs of Panama Cana (Donoghue, 2017).

· The role played by US military.

· The military attempt to overthrow Manuel Noriega

· How the US military acted as world’s policemen
