Personal Introduction:

My name is Nirali Makwana. I am 25 years old. I am an International student from India. I moved to the States in the year 2014. I started my education journey from William Rainey Harper college, where I worked as a receptionist for the ESL and International student’s office. I wanted to pursue nursing at the time and was taking mainly the elective and pre-req classes. I transferred out to Polk State college in the year 2018 and started pursuing my AA in liberal arts, my goal was still a bachelor’s in nursing. However, halfway through the AA degree I realized that I am more inclined towards the administrative side of healthcare system, hence, I changed my major to BAS in Healthcare administration. I got my AA in liberal Arts in December 2019 and started taking higher level classes required to graduate the healthcare admin program. I am graduating in May 2021. I look forward to start my professional career.
