Personal Brand Assignment
After I graduate with a degree of Computer Science and Information System, my target market would be a computer department firm with computer information system department. I personally believe that I have the ability to get that particular job done based on my skills and knowledge. I often try to spark new product ideas for the companies in order to achieve the company goal. On the other hand, I also communicate with different levels of people working not only in my departments but in other departments as well in order to have better knowledge of their work and how their work is affecting the company’s policy. My primary goal set is to help the company to achieve maximum profit through my work operations. The position that I might be seeking for will be position based on my knowledge and skills which is a position of Network and Computer systems administrator. The job description for this particular post includes maintaining network and computer system security, evaluating and optimizing network data movements and back-up; coordinating and communicating with outside vendors, adding users to network, assigning security permission and so on.
I, myself, will be looking job in this particular field of computer information system somewhere in Dallas, Texas as I have been residing in Dallas for more than four years now and therefore, I am familiar with the environment of Dallas area. I would be searching for job using campus carrier service as campus are seen helpful proving their students with better knowledge on preparing for job interviews. Being new to the field of computer world, I would try to learn more from my seniors and sharpen my knowledge to gain more experience through which I hope to be promoted. However, I would aspect my starting salary to be at least $45,000 annually and I would also like to take some benefits from the company based on my position like health benefits, bonus, competitive wages, flexible schedule and so on .As a Network and Computer Systems Administrator, I will be doing all the things that are previously listed as a job description for this particular post.
Based on my skills and knowledge, I found many job positions similar to what I would be looking for after graduation on indeed.com. This website clearly shows the job description with qualifications and benefits provided to the employer for the above position including the description of the company. When I compare and match my resume with the job description on www.jobscan.co, I ended up with 71% matching results which I believe is a fair match and I could join one of the company without any objections. If I am planning to join the above company, I would require some of the additional skills and qualification as well rather than just the knowledge on computer information system. The above job position is for one of the reputed companies of US, which is Red Bud Industries, Inc and therefore, my only knowledge based on computer will not help me through out to work on this company. Therefore, I will have to generate my additional skills and knowledge that I learned since my childhood working and experiencing in different field. I am a computer science major however; I have completed my business minor as well. As a result, I am familiar with how a business company works and the role of employee to achieve the company’s goal. Being a employee, performing day to day activities only will not be efficient for company and therefore proper communications is also important. Communicating and listing to others is one of my core strengths through which we can solve any issues that could arise in an organization as a group.
