Calculating costs and expenses.

Please describe the circumstances (in detail) surrounding the completion of this goal:

Many of this goal was done during this month in training, we have a large shop with many furniture and some calculations of costs and expenses must be done, I have done many things in the same goa\

l, I was able to communicate with companies to know the basic prices of some of our products such as the product of the Tile, I have done many cost calculations for some of the furniture that we require from some of the contracting company and offer the price to the customer. We do this work almost every week and we have new products available every week.

What did you learn from the completion of this goal that you did not already know?

I learned some equations to be able to calculate costs and expenses, I learned the calculate expenses in Excel, I learned to do price tags in PowerPoint.

How can the information you learned from this goal be used in your future coursework and career?

I can take advantage of this in my daily, professional and academic life by making useful plans when doing my own work or in my daily life in calculating life expenses and in school life when doing some projects that require accounts.

Making renderings.

Please describe the circumstances (in detail) surrounding the completion of this goal:

I worked in renderings for DHS, I worked on this project for Children and they choose the color that they want for the 3 rooms, I pick up the color also I visited the place to get the measurements and took pitchers I did that in Revit and I did the floor plan, Elevation, ceiling and rendering with some furniture, I communicated with people or companies to help us get the price for the paint for the project.

What did you learn from the completion of this goal that you did not already know?

I learned how to contacted the people directly to get the paint's price for DHS

How can the information you learned from this goal be used in your future coursework and career?

This will help me in my future coursework and career when I will working on projects and I want to price everything for the customer.

I helped a lot in this part, we make an invoice and estimate in the quick book if we were ordered any furniture or we have any project that we working on it, also after we order New furniture or have a new project, we do an invoice in the quick books so we can know that they are already bought. also, I working on an excel sheet for pricing and costing some of the tiles and some of the new furniture.

What did you learn from the completion of this goal that you did not already know?

I learned how the business's company works in Organizing and compiling materials and data and the importance of having time study sheets for everything.

How can the information you learned from this goal be used in your future coursework and career?

I will be Organizing that in my future career and put that as new skills for my resume.

I worked in Assisting designers with design, production, or installation tasks and responsibilities. I worked and visited 6 places, the 3 houses were for shades installation, the second house was for flooring's help and the fourth house was for carpeting and the third place was for advising.

What did you learn from the completion of this goal that you did not already know?

I learned a lot in this part of the goal. one of the important things is communication with people when were visited them.

I have worked on recommending raw materials and components suitable for end-use and specifications, I have worked on a project for a customer for her house and the appropriate fabrics were selected for that to tailor the furniture to the appropriate material

I did this work for another customer, help her choosing the good carpeting for the two master bedrooms and help her choose the color she wanted.

What did you learn from the completion of this goal that you did not already know?

This helped me to know and see the fabrics in reality, with the light and the sun, and I saw the vast difference between reality and working on colors on the computer.

How can the information you learned from this goal be used in your future coursework and career?

This will help me in my academic and future life when working on any project and choosing the right fabrics and colors in the right place for the client or the university.

Please describe the circumstances (in detail) surrounding the completion of this goal:

I worked in making a drafting plan when we visited a house for Sunroom carpeting, also I visited DHS place and did a drafting plan with measurements too, I did a drafting plan with color and furniture for DHS to help them get the idea for space

I worked in the owner's office; I made a drafting plan for the office while I visited.

What did you learn from the completion of this goal that you did not already know?

I learned that drafting skills it is a good skill for me when I need to put the idea very fast and help me to show the customer my idea.

How can the information you learned from this goal be used in your future coursework and career?

I can use this goal in my coursework and career as a good fast skill to help get the idea for the project very fast.

We have worked extensively in Excel and PowerPoint and do spreadsheet for all prices and information required to price furniture, tiles, carpets, and floor tiles and put prices on them. Also, All the tiles that need update we have been search and find the new price to changed and modify them.

This goal helps me improve my skills in perform calculations in excel.
