Guided Response:  In your responses, ask a question about the ethical implications they found in their study. Compare it to your own post and offer input as to how the considerations in light of the Belmont Report should be taken into account. Though two replies is the basic expectation, for deeper engagement and learning, you are encouraged to provide responses to any comments or questions others have given to you, including the instructor. Responding to the replies given to you will further the conversation and provide additional opportunities for you to demonstrate your content expertise, critical thinking, and real-world experiences with this topic.

Next, in one paragraph, discuss any ethical considerations and concerns presented in the research either explicitly or not explicitly stated (writing “There were none” is not an option).

When it comes to the issues within the programmatic, this is an issue that is lively in the ECSE world. One thing that was important when it comes to this book is inclusion because it has a remained of issues of emotional that is powerful to the appeal that is the fact od the statute to the federal that has never explicitly at all.  Parents are very concern when it comes to labeling their children in and/or different categorizing areas. This might lead the children into a decline in their early service within the intervention programs which includes parts C of the preschool up to part B. When it comes to the considerations that may interfere with the amount of time that the children have in the services that they are receiving to meet any and all needs that are unique to them. The last the cot would be a big concern for the parents that have children in the ECSE program as well.   APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Assoc.) Bowe, F. (2000). When research is shared, it is important to have reliable facts and resources. When parents read about symptoms of Autism, the research must be clear how, when, or how many before there can be a diagnosis. The website I shared has different types of articles and information that can be helpful to parents who have children with Autism. The podcast that is shared on the website might be controversial when sharing personal points of view. Overall, I feel the website and information is helpful and in not way of trying to be explicit with the resources or information they share. They are trying to educate the public about a disability that affects many people in various ways.

The entry that I chose in week 1 was interesting in that it actually addresses ethics in its conclusion. The authors placed a disclaimer: “Ethical Approval: All procedures in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and / or national research committee and with 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.” (Syriopoulou-Delli, Polychronopoulou, Kolaitis & Antoniou, 2016) In brief, this declaration is “statement of ethical principles for medical research involving human subjects, including research on identifiable human material and data.” (World Medical Association, 2018) My belief is that due to sensitive research being conducted which was associated with school age students who were diagnosed with ASD, the researchers wished to ensure that they were conducting a study which was ethical and not in violation of human rights. Furthermore, the authors approach their colleagues reading the paper with the  “hope that the findings of our study will inform and sensitize the educational world on issues related to the understanding and coping of children’s anxiety disorder in the autism spectrum.” (Syriopoulou-Delli, Polychronopoulou, Kolaitis & Antoniou, 2016)
