Pest Control Industry: Write a 5-6 page APA paper that compares and contrast the pest control industry employment laws, tax policies, safety regulations and competition regulation between Texas and Florida. Limited information is provided below. Feel free to use other resources/references to support findings outside of what is presented in Word document. Once paper is completed create double bubble graph of findings. If you see that there are other graphs that would align with information, include them in report. Florida

Florida has policies that are imposed on agricultural activities which do involve pest and chemical control, the department that controls this is the department for agriculture and consumer services (FDACS does the regulation)

The pest control industry (under the authority of the structural pest control act) these are the laws and policies that are to be followed by the residential and the corporate sectors that do their works in Florida.

The Florida Structural Pest Control Law (Chapter 482) requires any person or business performing structural pest control to be licensed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), Bureau of Licensing and Enforcement

Texas

In Texas chemical and pest control has its policies, the states requires that if this activity is done this should be done by professional pest control technicians are licensed by the state

The Structural Pest Control Act (Chapter 1951 of the Occupations Code) requires licensing of businesses and individuals that perform structural pest control for hire. Additionally, employees of units of state government who apply pesticides as part of their job duties, and persons performing pest control at an apartment building, day-care center, hospital, nursing home, hotel, motel, or lodge, warehouse, food-processing establishment (other than a restaurant, retail food, or food service establishment), or school must be licensed.
