Parts  of  the  term  paper     1.    The  Title  Page     The  first  page  must  contain  the  title  and  author  of  the  paper.    This  page  is  not   paginated.     2.    The  Body  of  the  Paper     The  body  of  the  paper  actually  consists  of  three  parts,  even  though  they  need   not  be  formally  identified  as  such  in  the  paper:  an  introduction  which  lays  out  the   purpose  of  the  paper;  the  actual  body  of  the  paper,  which  provides  the  narrative  and   argument  supporting  the  propositions  mentioned  in  the  introduction;  a  conclusion,   which  summarizes  the  key  points  of  the  paper.       The  pagination  of  the  paper  begins  right  after  the  title  page.       3.      References     The  references  include  the  sources  used  to  write  the  paper.    It  does  not   contain  sources  that  provided  background  information  but  were  not  directly  used  in   building  the  paper.    You  can  use  your  tentative  bibliography  to  write  the  references,   but  keep  in  mind  that  the  references  will  more  than  likely  be  much  shorter  than  the   bibliography.
