According to the video, there are various problems that affects entrepreneurship culture in class. Most of them makes it difficult to determine how the real world operates. In this paper, I will discuss different problems and recommendations needed in learning of entrepreneurship culture in class.
Measuring an attitude.
A major component of business education is the development of entrepreneurial thinking. This is really difficult to quantify. My take: people's work on this, but it doesn't mean we should ignore it simply because we can't quantify anything!
Leave the business strategy go.
Some educators will just not let the business strategy go as the gold pedagogical standard. My conclusion is that the discussion should be finished since the business strategy is no longer the focus. It was only the gold standard since it is gradable. I've said it before and I'll say it again: before creating a business plan, it comes to just about everything essential.
Standardization – or lack of it.
Some educators believe that teaching entrepreneurship standards should be in place. Take my view: I hope that we will never have a "one best method," since we all have to be concerned about compliance. I never met a brilliant instructor or saw a courageous program that fulfilled its grandeur.
Compulsory experience in entrepreneurship.
Should all business instructors be entrepreneurs? My take: Yes, in an ideal world, however this does not actually apply in this area, given the number of courses and the necessity for various kinds of instructors. The New England Patriots head coach and one of the best coaches ever was Bill Belichick who was a better lacrosse player than a football player. He participated as a college student at Wesleyan University on the soccer squad, but he really shone in the lacrosse because he was the oldest captain (Boldureanu et al. 2020).
Change the role.
It may be a struggle to get away from lectures and to learn through action. My understanding is that this is the number one obstacle for entrepreneurship. You have to practice and conduct entrepreneurship to learn entrepreneurship. Students should not attend guest speakers, case studies and PowerPoint presentations in a semester. The result for the kids is simply to improve their multi-task abilities, since they are very skilled in their classroom, phone, and laptop, all at the same time. Educators must be daring and entrepreneurial in teaching and modelling their pupils' behaviour.
