Goal 1

I plan to help build my community by implementing various programs for at-risk children the basis for engaging in the undertaking is improving the overall health of the young one to empower the individuals to participate in constructive social and economic endeavors. I aspire to serve by understanding the needs of the people before formulating programs that address the concern. The suitable strategy, therefore, lies in undertaking a task that enhances interaction with different persons in a communal setting.

The ability to initiate programs and share the ideas effectively aligns with the personal value of cherishing progress of humanity by empowering through sharing knowledge. Since childhood, I have always had the aspirations of exploiting skills in improving people’s live hood. I cherished reading text and watching media contents that documented charitable cause in the community. I envied the leaders with the skills to initiate cooperative endeavors since it made one feel resourceful in a community. Upon growing up, I realized the significance of the ability. Over the years, I have treasured the urge to master techniques that enhance participation in duties that improve the wellness of the vulnerable in the community. I keep practicing on ways of acquiring the skills with my preference for a voluntary undertaking. The influence is attributable to the urge to master leadership skills for directing the vulnerable in the community to noble causes.

The strategy for exploitation to acquire the skills includes enrolling for an online program on community service and skills for communication with people from different backgrounds to sharpen the ability to interact with the rest during public undertakings. The objective is easing conversation with different individuals when planning for venture at the communal level. I also practice communicating ideas then engaging peers in an evaluation of the ability in expression. I engage in the task as a self-initiative for testing competence in expression (Avolio, 2010). Additional undertakings in anticipation to master the skills include initiating conversation with peers online platform then gauging the comprehension of the message. I also utilize audio contents disseminated via the internet that seeks to impart in individual leadership skills through emphasis on the need to master useful administrative skills. I also dedicate free time to tutorial initiative that encourages communication with different members of the community on ways of improving care delivery.

The possession of technological resources that include the computer and mobile phone is necessary for facilitating the accomplishment of the goal of mastering communication techniques for exploitation when steering public undertakings. The mobile devices are helpful for communication. I plan to solicit the views of peers on the best ways of developing leadership skills through interaction via the social media platform (Darling-Hammond, LaPointe, Meyerson, Orr, & Cohen, 2007). I will initiate conversations with members of my inner circles on Twitter in striving to establish the reason for the variation in comprehension of ideas on collective leadership. I plan to use the computer in accessing the internet to utilize the online tutorial that tests individual language proficiency and verbal communication abilities.

The utilization of the media has the potency of capitalizing on the strength of desiring to acquire knowledge for participation in different undertakings in the community. I am passionate about improving the welfare of the community and such is helpful in serving in a leadership position. As a result, the undertaking pioneered in the community will have the capacity to strengthen profile for future leadership roles (Casse, 2014). The weaknesses in personality that might halt the realization of the goal are the desire to exude competency in specific areas and prefer to interact with intellectuals. The bias in preference of the person to network with may hinder interaction with communal leaders cognizant of establishing a connection with the rest in the community. I aspire to accomplish the goal in six months times for participation in activities in the community before the end of the schooling year.

Goal 2

I desire to gain the knowledge on leadership and skills necessary for identifying critical care needs for team members and the target population in public initiatives. The motive to accomplish the goal is improving the wellness of the vulnerable population in the community through the execution of sound leadership strategies. As things stand, quite a significant number grapple ascertaining their needs because of the inability of leaders exploiting intellectual skills in addressing the immediate concerns of the population. The goal aligns with the value of expressing concerns for the needy especially those suffering due to bad leadership.

The initial steps for exploitation in pursuing the goal include mastering the course contents by taking the lectures seriously. I plan to attend all sessions and engage lecturers in discourses that lead to comprehension of the challenges affecting upcoming leaders in delivering on their mandate. I will focus on service delivery to the community. Books from the internet and school library provide an excellent resource for the activity. I will also engage intellects from the community in a discussion that results in deliberations on ways of improving leadership skills.

I intend to use social media in sharing information on the plans for tackling challenges facing the vulnerable population in the community. I will exploit the same resources in collecting the views of the public about the prevailing trends that require urgent attention. Linked in and Twitter will offer a critical platform for soliciting information from professionals and renowned communal leaders on ways of improving care delivery in the community.

I plan to exploit the internet as the critical resource for soliciting information from peers and other scholars with leadership skills. The support is equally important in communication with community leaders. The utilization of the applications that run on the networks is helpful in monitoring prevailing trends in the community. The possession of intellectual skills reflects the strength of comprehending knowledge with ease. The ability to identify the emergent issues in the community aligns with the aspiration to formulate leadership programs that help the needy. The weakness of concentrating on the point that I perform best limits learning skills necessary for interaction with the laypersons at the communal level. I intend to accomplish the goal after twelve months.

Goal 3

I aspire to learn teamwork skills to establish networks critical for liaising with different stakeholders in initiating public programs. The motivation for achieving the goal is formulating a team that can alleviate challenges that hinder people from attaining their potential. An example is dealing with cases of ailments that expose young persons to different risks. The realization of the objective aligns with the value of commitment to ideas that improve the overall wellbeing of the vulnerable in the population (Day, & Haipin, 2001). The importance of expressing diligence in duties also harmonizes with the goal.

The steps for accomplishing the goal entail simulating ideas explored in the course that prepares one for leadership undertakings in the community. I plan to experiment by organizing individuals into teams for a different task that leads to the possession of team leadership. Participation in a voluntary initiative in the community such as sensitization programs is essential to the mastery of the skills necessary for serving in a leadership position.

I will use the internet resources in learning the necessary steps for exploitation in gaining the leadership skills. I will engage peers in discourse that results in the comprehension of strategies for coordinating group activities. The accomplishment of the goal capitalizes on the possession of cultural sensitivity skills. I can relate well with people from diverse backgrounds as a result (Carey, Philippon, & Cummings, 2011). I equally express concerns for the needs of peers and such will prove critical in the realization of the goal of strengthening associations I intend to accomplish the goal in six months times.

In conclusion, the realization of the goal of formulating programs that address the risk of children at risk in the community first requires comprehension of personal strengths and weaknesses. The subsequent is the explanation of the motivation and the relation with personal values, then the description of the steps for exploitation in the process. The description of the resources and the strategies also features in the section. The plans for technology use and a relation of the goals with personal strengths and weaknesses follow. The plan has to communicate the timeframe. In my case, the program spans at least 12 months. The following goals to the initial objective are mastering leadership skills for coordinating communal undertakings and learning teamwork skills to work with people from diverse background.
