Outline

1. Introduction

After decades of being under oppression the LGBTQ community started to gain a long-deserved recognition in many countries. However, this is not the case everywhere in the world. President Duda’s election in Poland shows that there is still hatred towards this community. With this paper, I try to showcase the possible dangers on human rights violations that President Duda is trying to implement, the elections, and the road to Duda’s victory.

2. Body

First, I will write about the election itself. Then, the happenings in the country during the election and the actual election. Later, I will examine Duda’s ideas on LGBTQ rights and what would that mean to the future of Poland. I would like to showcase the dangerousness of his thoughts and how he used public perception on the issue. I will try to present this new-nationalist wing in Eastern Europe and how they were able to rise so quick.

3. Conclusion

Gathering all mentioned ideas, theories, facts, and opinions mentioned in the paper and give a proper conclusion with my opinion on the matter.
