2. Welding and grinding protection training for all workers under that department.

This is crucial since four welders have had minor burns in the last year. There was also a case where debris entered an employee's eye while grinding, resulting in a 15-day work suspension. While such incidents are unavoidable, workplace-appropriate welding and grinding processes can help to alleviate the problem (Occupational Safety & Health Administration 2015).

3. Other personnel to be trained to provide first aid.

OSHA requires the presence of personnel for advice, and it would be prudent for them to have trained personnel on hand if their injury rate is high in comparison to their general employee population.

4. All workers should undergo basic and refresher training on the operation of motor vehicles and mechanized equipment prior to operation.
