The student will conduct a concept analysis (using pre-work from DB Module 9) to include a concept literature review; identification of attributes, antecedents, and consequences; identification of model, borderline, related, and contrary cases; a developed theoretical definition; and identification of empirical referents. You must use one nursing scenario and show how it changes from a model case to a borderline case, then becomes a related and finally, a contrary case. The assignment will be submitted utilizing 7th ed. APA format student paper. Use the APA Manual to check your APA formatting including proper use of headings. Make sure to include all areas of the rubric in the paper.
Using the standard concept analysis process, analyze a concept from either Paradigm 1 or Paradigm 2 by synthesizing literature related to the concept. Total 100 points. Minimum 5 pages for body of paper. Paper headings italicized as criteria in assignment rubric.
