If you have p values that are above your alpha (.05)…then you have not minimized significant (f)

(r squared will go down as we remove variables)

Maybe you look at your data and say…maybe my significant (f) can go down?

Explanatory power vs. the coefficient impact.

Both matter for your analysis, because this is where you get your projections from. But whether or not it’s worth relying on that variable.

You can get rid of some of the variables. You can put them some where else.

Side note: your x variables all need to be in columns next to each other. So pull that out and do not look at it again.

But now! Go back to DATA, DATA ANAYLSIS, REGRESSION. (my Y’s are still going to be the same)

Your x’s will now change.

Has the significant f gone up or down compare the first regression (MLR1) ????

Are the p values now explanatory??? Probably so! Did they go down?

The goal is to minimize significant f !!!!!
