Abstract : mention relation between Transmittance and wavelength for (short pass filter ,band pass filter , colors filters ) In introduction: mention definition of Transmittance and Absorption and beer's law And writer the equation Procedure : Measure The spectrum of white light without any color or glass filter at the cuvette holder Then I got the reference data . next , I recorded data for optical filters , then I got Transmittance by dividing the spectrum of light transmitted by sample by the reference counts . finally I plotted graphs about transmission spectrum (Transmission vs wavelength) of the short-pass filters (450nm and 550 nm cutoff) and the bandpass filter (315-710 nm) only

Discussion + Results: in this experiment , although I didn't make the errors in steps of experiment,I faced some difficulty's to adjust the curve in excel because of inexperience, Also I was not faster in plotting the graphs, I hadn't enough time to study the absorption and emission spectrum of Rhodamine B. for this reason I only plotted two graphs about transmission spectrum (Transmission vs wavelength) of the short-pass filters (450nm and 550 nm cutoff) and the bandpass filter (315-710 nm) only .
