Norm Breaking Assignment

Due: Discussion #12 (April 3rd -5th)

Go out into the world and violate a norm in the presence of others! Then write up a report telling me:

What norm did you violate? Why did you choose this act?

Where did you do it?

Who saw you? How did they react? In other words, what kinds of sanctions did you receive?

How did you react to their reactions/sanctions?

How did you feel while violating the norm that you chose?

Would you violate this norm again? Why or why not?

Note: You are NOT being asked to violate any law, harm yourself, others or property, or endanger the safety of yourself, others, or property. In other words, BE SAFE!
