General Guidance on Assignment Length: Your Week 1 Individual Reflection assignment will typically be 2 to 3 pages (1 to 1.5 pages single-spaced), excluding a title page and references.
When you think about business leaders whom you admire, which of their qualities come to mind? For example:
· Were they are humble and humorous?
· Were they sensitive to the feelings of others?
When you think of leaders whom you do not admire, what qualities do you think of first? For example:
· Were they evasive or did they avoid any conflict?
· Do they have some of the bad habits that Finkelstein (2003) described in his review of business leaders who failed dramatically?

· Identify one leader you admire without naming the leader and his/her organization.
· Write a brief description of the leader you identified, including the levels of power and influence that this leader achieved.
· List and describe at least five qualities that you most associate with the leader. Within your response, include whether or not these qualities can be taught to an individual, are ‘born’ into an individual, or a combination of both.
· Evaluate whether or not the power, influence, and qualities you described contribute to the leader’s effectiveness.
Make sure that you include a title page and a References list in your submission.
