Gap of Knowledge:

There is limited understanding of how pharmacogenomics is practically applied in clinical trials

across major diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression, and asthma.

Thesis Statement

The central aim of this manuscript is to explore the utilization of pharmacogenomics in clinical

trials involving cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression and asthma.

Significance Statement:

This manuscript would be of interest to individuals conducting clinical trials, patients and

associated personal that work with patients with these disease states.
