Planning a bathroom renovation using MS Project Software
Value
This assignment is evaluated out of 50 marks and is worth 10% of your semester grade. The
project must be completed in a group. The due date and time Thursday, Nov 14, 11:59 pm.
The assignment is to create a project plan for a bathroom renovation in your newly bought home.
Assume you are installing a double sink vanity, toilet, bathtub, and a separate shower. You are
required to use the milestone approach to project management. You are the project manager
and have two laborers, a plumber, an electrician, a painter/decorator, a cabinet installer, and
granite counter top experts. Plan the renovation taking into account steps that are dependent
upon each other, drying time for tile grout etc. and identify activities that can occur in parallel.
Minimize the project critical path.
