Paraphrase Exercise

Please take the time to write three (3) practice paraphrases from short passages chosen from any of the following stories we've read:

"The Jewelry" by Guy de Maupassant, "Girl" Jamaican Kincaid, and "A&P" by John Updike.

will only help you when it comes time to write your essay.

Please note: This exercise is worth 30 points. That means each paraphrase will be worth 10 points each. Make sure you include the passage you are paraphrasing and use proper MLA citation.
