Hi Class!

Congrats on making it to the end of this term. Starting with some insights to my final project, I proposed that UKG had the following recommendations and implementation steps:

Leveraging diversity of thought to have an inclusive solution that focus on employee concerns collected throughout the organizations internal UKX survey.

Focusing on their physical footprint and continue reducing their office space in both the Weston, FL and Lowell, MA locations (dual headquarters).

Double down on their growth strategy through acquisitions and continue diversifying the product/service portfolio, geographical representation, and customer base.

Implement through upfront investments that will lead to more streamlined processes and have a good return on investment. These recommendations also help UKG stay grounded with their values of United, Kind and Growing which support their tagline “Our Purpose is People”.

Now to work in the CSR Transformational Leadership Model! This model has 4 main components to develop a vision to benefit society, communicate the CSR vision, create commitment toward the vision among all stakeholders, and walk the talk and model the CSR vision (Haski-Leventhal, 2022). I think UKG could greatly benefit from incorporating this into their plan going forward on top of the project management and change management plan I recommended as part of the implementation for these positive changes. Developing a vision helps promote employee engagement to help the organization achieve the goals they have set (Haski-Leventhal, 2022). By communicating this vision, UKG is expanding the power of adoption to these changes and being transparent with their employees, customers, and shareholders throughout the process. Doing so helps build trust. Connecting transformational leadership with Kotter’s change management model are closely tied to the ability to inspire and motivate employees to buy into leaderships vision (Holder, 2023).
