Employees Analysis

A closer observation of individual employee’s profiles reveals two fundamental issues in the company. Firstly, Nojax has employed candidates of different ethnicity, nationalities, and cultures. People of diverse backgrounds have been engaged to work at Nojax. Secondly, the company employees have come from different age groups. The impact of age and nationality diversity in the company includes fostering a large knowledge base, increases the combination of experience from the aging and academic skills for the young employees leading to a diverse workforce. The negative impact would be age barriers. Nationality diversity will also provide a wide knowledge base but can also cause conflict when it comes to racism.

Meso level observations include diversity in gender and race. The ratio of gender is 3:1 with the female having an upper hand. On the other hand, the company has achieved racial balance as the ratio of Africa-Americans to Caucasians is 1:1. The positive impact of a diverse society is that there will be a higher morale coupled with different perspectives on matters. The company will be easily able to diversify into other cultures while improving on community relations.

Since the company’s macro level deals with the economic impact, the two observations here are the educational qualifications and work experience. Nojax has employed people of various academic qualifications ranging from high school diploma to Bachelor’s Degree. The positive impact of this is that the company has both an experience employee and also someone that has fresh skills. Differences in qualifications can easily cause conflicts, especially where age diversity comes to play.

The level of differences observed in Nojax is high. The high differences is shown when there are notable differences across the three levels; macro, micro, and meso. Though gender diversity leans towards one gender, I believe that there is an overall positive impact on the current level of differences. This is because there is positive impact on the macro level. The macro-level covers the major reasons that the business existence is seen here when the diversity has a positive impact when it diffuses to the other levels. As you can see the diversity is positively impacting the business.
