1. Introduction

Middle East is a common term which is attributed to those countries which consist in southwest Asia. This term was coined in the 19th century at the ending of British Rule in this area and Foreign Service of British was leaving these geographical areas and it was first used in 1902 in a article by a United States naval officer.

Middle East consist of 22 countries which are part of this term mainly the important ones are like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE and many others. The estimated number of population which resides in this geographical territory is 300 million. Middle East is known as “Cradle of Civilizations” historically. This region is attributed to the origin of three largest religions which are Islam, Judaism and Christianity. The most populous countries of this region is Turkey, Egypt, and Iran which has about more than 50 million people. While the states of Bahrain and Qatar have the smallest population about 400,000. Much of geographical area of these areas is desert and barren land so no agricultural base exists in these regions. (Dieti, 2018)

2. Body

Middle East as described earlier is part of world which is composed of countries which are found in Western Asia and some of the parts of Northern Africa. This region is well equipped with the rich resources of oil which is the most important commodity in the world right now from last couple of years. The oil is backbone behind the economic, technological and transportation sector of every economy in the world. (Elkanj, 2011)

The problems which exist in the Middle East are new but its roots goes to way back with the struggle to gain the control of the region by former and current super powers. They have their own self-interest in this regard but this region always get the light of blood and war in every part due to the policies of these super powers. Oil is the main source of conflict as it was discovered in this part of the world with huge reserves which are essential to maintain the economic engine of the growth of any country. (Attar, 2009)

Another main reason of conflict is the Israel which has been injected in this part of the world where they do not belong. So the conflict between Israel and Arab countries goes way back with some wars as well so these countries used to get involves in war and conflict creating situations due to non-acceptance of Israel on this territory. This practice of forcefully trying to recognized by the current super power of today has created so many separation between the countries and their public that revolutions have become the daily news. Most part of the Gulf has gone into war which is never ending process as we see in Yemen and in Syria as well.

There are the borders problems exist as well between the nation states of this region. Iran and Turkey are the exception while all the other countries had been occupied by the Western countries in the past so border management remains the issue in this part of the world which causes so many tense situations and even the reason of war between the countries. Global powers play their new cold war games in this region as the Syria is the new battle of gaining strategic interest between the USA and Russia. No one have keen interest with the people of these countries but the only thing which is related is the maximum control of their power holds. (Sorli, 2005)

Iran & Saudi Arab conflict gets deepening day by day which is quite alarming and main source of conflict in the region. Both are two very strong countries locally and internationally so they have built up blocks where their same minded government are ruling so the proxy war of super powers goes through these countries who only threat each other for having maximum benefit from the other countries. Oil is being the base resource to exist in the world market is also a main reason of conflict between the countries of this region. (Posthuma, 2011)

3. Conclusion

Middle East is not some hot ashes which always want to burn but it is the region of peach and love. As a Muslim dominating societies peace is the first choice of the people of this region. So there is one thing which needs to be removed from this region if global piece is to achieved. The involvement of global super powers like USA and Russia needs to step back and completely eliminate their involvement in the politics of this regions as well as unnecessary involvement with the member countries. Israel needs to be taught a lesson regarding the cruelties they are doing on Palestine people. The two big key players like Iran and Saudi Arab needs to sort out their issues and resolve their problems so that to prosper both the countries and double game of politics and sitting their pawns as the rulers of another countries needs to be stop. (Edward E. Azar, 2017)

Middle Eastern countries needs to resolve their border management issues and strong framework should be adopted as well the oil exportation and other issues of conflict. Although OPEC already exist but still this should be further enhances to other countries and their involvement should be encouraged. Strong social, economic and religious help should be given to the countries of the region which are way behind the other in terms of progress and prosperity.

Middle East can only be place of peace when the foreign involvement goes to zero percentage which has no chance of getting into near future. Wars are happening around Syria and Yemen which are most devastating factor as being the part of the society. Member countries of these countries needs to realize their importance and should stop of being the puppet player by the global super powers.
