An organizational structure is fundamental as it defines how activities such as organization, and management are focused on the road of organizational goals. The organization structure establishes who will participate in decision-making processes, and thus to what degree their opinions will shape the organization’s actions. As for GAH, it is critical for its organizational structure to facilitate the smooth transmission of information and the provision of quality health care and deliver a variety of clinical services, specifically to meet the need of the senior population. Golden Age Hospital (GAH) will be dedicated exclusively to promote quality standards and timely delivery of services. In partnership with the local and regional leadership, GAH will make available medical, nursing and social services for the population of Mission Viejo city and the nearby municipalities. The Mission statement for GAH and Community Clinic is to be a specialized geriatric facility, offering education, and refining the quality of life of the senior population in Orange County, they will also expand services for the senior population anywhere they reside comprise of complete assessment, specialized consultation, and referral services. GAH will focus to deliver compassionate, client-centered care to the senior population and caregivers with Respect, Excellence, and Compassion.
GAH should have the availability for the family waiting area, and consultation room. Considering Orange County and its municipalities, the senior population represents roughly 40% of the population therefore 40% of 122 =48.8. The data shows that on average GAH can operate on 50 beds and should be able to safely increase its capacity if the need arises. GAH will also continue to parentship with Mission Viejo medical center to facilitate the access of medical services to the senior population. provide service needed for the senior population it is required to open major services such as pulmonary lab, geriatric center, hospice care and other services with licensed physicians. With all this in place, it is safe to say that GAH will accomplish its goals.

Organizational structures are necessary for the functioning of the hospitals. The hospital facility should have suitable organizational structures to enable smooth transmission of information and the provision of quality health care. The mission of the Golden Age hospital wing is to provide quality healthcare to the senior population of the Mission Viejo region. The facility should meet the recommended size to accommodate the 50-bed number for the elderly occupancy throughout the year, which is subject to addition depending on circumstances and emergencies. The integration of all the departments is encouraged to facilitate the easy access and delivery of medical services to the aged. The facility is to provide major treatment services and healthcare to seniors. The wing for seniors will also depend on the already available facilities and resources in the hospital as a way of managing cost but still maintaining healthcare service quality. The physicians with specialties in geriatrics are supposed to be integrated into the Golden age Hospital wing by the management to treat and care for the elderly special delicate conditions. A combination of the right organizational structure, hospital capacity size, integration, and physicians the Golden Age hospital wing project will be nothing short of a success.
