Consider the same company ‘X’ that you have already used in assignment 1 and answer the following questions
1. Describe the roles of directional, marketing, operations and human resource strategies in the overall well-being of your selected company. (2 marks)
2. Classify the products of your selected company based on the BCG matrix. (1 mark)
3. Describe at least one partnership that your selected corporation has with other company (es). Is it successful? Justify. (1mark)
4. Describe the structure of your selected company. (1 mark)

A BCG matric is essential in analyzing an enterprises current and future competitive landscape based on its industry which is essential in planning ("What is a BCG matrix?," 2020). The models essential in enabling an enterprise to offer profitable products now and endeavor to embrace changes in the offering that would guarantee its competitive advantages in the future.

3. Describe at least one partnership that your selected corporation has with other company (es). Is it successful? Justify. (1mark)
Our partnerships with other businesses in the hotel industry, including Warwick hotel, would prove to be a success, especially in the holiday seasons. His partnership is essential in increasing the flow of information and strategies. Since we are located in different areas of the city as partners, we will tap customers from across all outskirts of the town. The partnership has played a fundamental role in increasing the capacity to raise more capital to fund the larger size of the business and an increased asset base, enabling us to serve a larger pool of customers, unlike when operating as a single business (Zdenek & Walsh, 2017). There has been enhanced management practices due to increased absorption of new ideas from partners business as the partnership enables the business to go beyond its means.
4. Describe the structure of your selected company. (1 mark)
The hotel is characterized by a formal structure essential in carrying out its mission and meeting its vision. At the executive level of the structure will be the owners and executive management personnel. The assistant and the surpassing general managers will be the next in line, followed by the departmental managers and finally the employees at lower ranks. Instructions and directions will be relayed from the executive teams to the assistant managers and communicated to departmental managers who are in direct contact with employees and customers.
