Our initial goal was to help lower the cost of Mausers hazardous waste disposal. We came up with multiple different solutions that would cut down the average yearly cost of waste disposal.

Gamechangers found the following:

Mauser Packaging Solutions was paying over $100,000 more in waste removal than other manufacturers.

The hazardous wastewater (containing acetone) can be recycled and reused.

By switching to the new waste removal company & waste recycling company, Mauser Packaging Solutions can save $102,516.

External Stakeholders:

Mission Statement: “To help Mauser Packaging achieve better sustainability with their packaging by saving money. We do this by having the opportunity to do important work, solve interesting problems and be part of a diverse, forward-looking team.”

Problem Statement: Compared to other planets, Mauser Packaging Solution of Mason is paying more than $100,000 in Hazardous waste disposal that is impacting their finances. By fixing the problem, it will help them to be able to investment money elsewhere for the company to meet their commitments, innovations, quality products and passions.

Mauser to get new hazardous waste new company to dispose of the waste for low cost. It is beneficial for them to implement new machinery in the product line to reclaim some products.
