1. Based on reading this article it was founded that older women who are minorities are mor educated than the employees with lower education. Higher level of education leads individuals to value public service and the effects it has on society. I am attracted to public service because It's easy for me to relate to those that i am servicing. I have worked in the public service field for over 15 years and it is a very rewarding job. The reason why its so rewarding to me is because it allows me to help, advocate, and educate those that are in need. Being able to make a difference in an individuals life when in need is a great feeling for me, not to mention again I find that I natural to be in those roles to assist those that are in need.

2. After reading the article, I analyzed two important finding which are that older women and minorities are more likely to choose a public sector career and when they are more educated with higher education level will also have higher level of public service motivation. Another finding I read was that t negative relationship will be found between the level of public service motivation of public employees and their preferences on monetary incentive. The reason I am attracted to public service is because the new work you find in the sector you will be open to more opportunities where it can help you overcome challenges and being able to make a difference. The goals will help create a difference where it can create change and being able to support a change at the same time when completing your goals. My reasons are more of rational because of help others and advocating for public policies which will benefit others and help them gain opportunities.

3. Based on reading this article, I can see how older women have an advantage because of their minority. They become well educated more efficiently than younger employees. As some would say that public service is public trust. Public service may be depressing in the eyes of a few, but it actually rewards effort and education. From working in a clothes shop back then, I have learned and helped those around me. I have become completely taught the hard life of public service. There will be those that may put you down, but then there are those to teach life is not always going to be pretty. I consider public service a vital and useful motivation in life since it teaches the young the ways of life. My reasons are leaned towards the rational side. I tend to try and understand things from the perspective of others. Working in a small clothes store gave me a great understanding of the public itself and putting myself in the shoes of a worker. 

4. After reading the article, I found that older women and minorities have a better advantage and they are educated pretty well. In the reading, public service affects the way society thinks and it has its pros and cons. The reason I'm attracted to public service is that individuals have Opportunities and are able to expand their knowledge. Public services help us get involved and keeps us educated. My reason is rational because it includes being there for each other and you get an understanding of others. I want to be able to advocate so I can be there for others.
