Most of the businesses have many information systems running at the same time. They all have a wide variety of management systems like the Senior management is always busy meeting the client requirements, middle managers look after their personnel and take control of the ongoing activities, and the lower level managers keep the employees busy with the appropriate duties. All the information systems related to Management Information systems tend to be handled by the middle management. They acquire the data from the transaction systems and generate the reports. Management at any level at some point or not should maintain a proper workflow and with MIS there can be a huge impact.

According to the sources, it mentions in between the years 1955 to 1970, the computer industry has grown very rapidly and MIS is one such system where the actual growth occurred. People knew about the growth and started building a framework to the MIS and maintained this scenario till date. It becomes hard when understanding a management level issue, but with workflow and the framework in place, the management has succeeded in building huge projects and standards. The performance and the productivity of the organizations increase with MIS being a highly sustainable practice. The efficiency of the personnel, finance, and marketing strategies reaches an endpoint with proper Management and the information systems knowledge.

Most of the management rely on the MIS reports as they drive the activities of the employees and the customers. These reports generated have a high-level information which can be subdivided into detailed tasks which are tracked ongoing and in future. Managers use this presentation to the customer and gain their satisfaction. Senior management and the executives have an insight into these and help them grow the business process.

Thus, as an IT professional I would like to conclude the Management information systems and its concepts identified (Management levels, the framework of MIS, and MIS reports) which are detailed above have a huge impact over the business process and help the managerial roles build their ability.
