A low carb diet limits the amount of carbohydrates that your body digests, carbs are found in foods like starchy vegetables and fruits and mainly in breads and pastas. Low carb diet is a great way to get the figure you’ve always wanted. Becoming more aware of what you put into your body, and eating more vegetables and less pasta, and sweets is exactly what your body needs!

Above is a food pyramid for people that go on low carb diets. This is a great example of what you should be eating to still be getting the proper nutrients everyday. Beginning with the first two rows, the pasta and cereal is okay, but you should only be having small portions of it. Working your way to the bottom, most of your diet should consist of vegetables and fish, and very lean proteins. Cooking with olive oil is a great alternative and making sure to get in all the fruits and veggies during the day.
This diet is the perfect way to slim down your figure and this pyramid describes to a tee exactly what you should be eating, and how much so that you can look and feel your best. Some foods to be careful eating would be quinoa, wine, dark chocolate, legumes, non-gluten grains, and tubers.
