Lesson Plan
The lesson plan below is fabricated to help the children between the ages of 18 months to five years. The stage is very critical in child development owing to the numerous needs the children. Some of the special needs of the age group is learning to speak, to hold items and brushing their own shoes.

Language and Literacy |
The infants will read the Pat the Bunny By Dorothy. This is one of the books that toddlers could enjoy reading more and more (Brown, n.d) |
The children will read Brown Bear! Brown Bear! What do you see? The toddlers will be taught about the different colors since the book features many colors |
Goodnight moon. The book will be used to help the toddlers be able to identify items like brush and combs. At the end, they should be cognizant with such items (Brown, n.d) |
Recognizing emotions. The toddlers will learn how to recognize the emotions of others using a book called Baby Faces. They look at the various faces and determine the type of emotions displayed by the face |
Potty! In this lesson, the children will be introduced to going in the toilets. The toddlers will be helped to practice the activity so that every fear about toilet going is removed. |

Learning Motor Skills |
Play-Dough and Putty. The lesson will involve activities like stretching, squeezing, and cutting the dough with scissors. |
Water play. It will involve giving toddlers on glass full of water and another empty glass. They will use the syringe to transfer the water from one glass to another. The activity will enhance their holding abilities |
Gardening and Planting. It will involve simple exercises like transferring the seeds to the farm or eye-coordination of the activities taking place in the farm |
Playing with sponges. The children will need water and bowls. The activities are part of enhancing their fine motor skills |
Simple painting exercises. The children will observe painting processes. The activity is intended to enhance their eye coordination skills |

Sensory and Science |
Creating a sensory bin for children to use when playing. I will fill the bin with leaves, sand, stone, and the let the kids to explore |
Playing with food. During the lesson, the toddlers will have an opportunity to play with different types of food. It will involve smearing the food, tasting different types of foods, smelling the food. The process goes deep into reinforcing their sensory aspects |
Balance beam play. The children will be taken to nearest parks to have fun playing with balance beam. |
Swing, Swing , Swing. In this lesson, the kids will be allowed to swing on different positions, for instance on their tummy, and other manageable styles |
Play dough. During the lesson, the children will also play with dough as a way of enhancing their sensory wellness. Dought not only strengthens the motor skills, it also builds the toddler’s senses (Morin, 2019) |

Creative arts |
Salt painting. The toddlers will have opportunity to paint using salts. The children will paint their best pictures on the paper |
Play dough modeling. It will provide the best experiences for the toddlers and reinforces their creative skills in addition to motor skills |
Marble painting. The children will deep the marble in the paint and draw shapes on the paper. |
Introducing stickers. The children will have an opportunity to explore different stickers because they provide the best childhood experience |
Cutting and glue. For the class, children will cut papers and glue them together. The activity will reinforce their memory and enhance their memory regarding shapes |
