1. Experimental Objective:

· In this section, state the aims and goals of the lab, and the rationale of doing the experiment:

· Perform a brief analysis to determine what should be performed by the software, and how the different modules interacted

· Should be high-level and provide an overview of the topology

· Should be related to developing a product or a device (feature implementation)

2. Equipment required:

· Scope, Logic Analyzer, Trace tools, etc.

· Simulink Scopes, Matlab data logger, et…

3. Methodology/Design:

· Create a block diagrams to identify all important blocks in the system and specify the requirements (inputs, outputs, function) of each block

· Provide a block diagram, flowchart, and/or description of the operation design/implementation

· List the HW and the SW components needed to achieve the expected goal(s), such as the Simulink blocks, Arduino Blocks, math equations blocks, Arduino C-functions, etc..

· Identify and quantify the sensors and the actuators needed to implement the required functions.

· Identify the processor and the interfacing requirements and methods

4. Observation:

· In most cases, display live data can be incorporated to show the entire activity, i.e. monitoring internal signals, GUI,

· In other cases, an actuator may take action (such as a variable speed motor, servo motor, etc.., and this action should be clearly indicating the expected functionality

5. Conclusion:

· State the final conclusions from your result; the conclusions should be consistent with the objectives
