For this assignment, there are three major parts:

1. List the most important 3-5 relevant tasks and 3-5 knowledge, skills, abilities, and other ( KSAOs) [you should have 12-20 total] that you believe would be associated with a leadership role that is linked to your current or projected occupation.

· This should be included in your write up as an appendix. Be sure to state what occupation you are referring to.

2. Look up this occupation on O*NET’ https://www.onetonline.org/ and use the search bar, and take a look at the hierarchically ordered (from most-to-least important) listing of both the tasks and KSAOs associated with this occupation. List the top 3 tasks and KSAOs (3 per category).

3. Third, write a brief analysis (no more than 2 pages double-spaced, 12 point, Times New Roman font) comparing and contrasting the list shown for your occupation on O*NET and the list that you created.

· If there were discrepancies, why do you believe there are such discrepancies?

· Discuss whether you believe there is missing information that would be pertinent to include and should be added to O*NET’s description of the occupation

· Discuss your opinion on O*NET’s usefulness as a means of identifying and selecting potential leaders for this occupation.
