1- My feeling towards taking this class when I do the required will overcome my difficulty. I will think a lot about going through this class with learning and excellent grades.

2- There are several procedures to detect blind spots, including a specific table to remember what to do. I will do the same for me at the same time and not delay for another time. I will do what I need to do. There are blind spots that students must ignore in order to be successful, such as ignoring problems, overcoming them and continuing to succeed.

3- Often the second wolf is fed because it helps to do good more than the first .. When I try to do good there are things trying to prevent me from doing and overcome by good. When someone tries to help another in something, there are those who come to prevent him from doing so because of his hatred of the person who asked for help. When feeding the second wolf, which is the act of good for anything that has been in life, my life changes for the better and increases my ambition. There are ways that affect the nature of my thoughts positively, which makes me do it always and used to do.

4- self-talk has a profound impact on my feeling and behavier. when I do something and the result is not good as I expected, I always tell myself that I will not be succesful and I should not be doing it or even tring because I am not good at doing it, which make me stop trying and it will make me feel unusful. Sometimes, to make myself feel better, I blame others and make them the reason of my failur, which is a bad thing, but it is just to make me feel a bit better. Before I start working for my goal, I always remember the reason why am here and who is waiting for me and for my succes in here such as my son, wife and family whom always push me forward. I think I need to work in the way that I look at my mistakes and failuer, and learn that without making mistake I won't learn new experience. Also, I should mention the good things that I learned from each experince even if it was not as I wanted it to be, which will help in making me feel better in the right way and improve the quality of self-talk skills that I have.

5- I have many feelings such as longing for my family and my friends and thinking a lot because I live alone here and think about my future very much, and I hear about the troubles and problems of life a lot and I seek to achieve my dream and my goal is to graduate and get suitable work according to the academic qualification. And get many different experiences.

6- I wanted to develop myself to speak English fluently and I wanted help from anyone but I could not because of my fear of the reaction of others not to respond to me. I felt frustrated because I could not ask for help. I thought again and asked for help from someone and was responding to me and help me and overcome my fear of the reaction of others. I felt happy when I got help and the result was very good. When someone asks me for help I will help him without hesitation or refuse to make him happy.

7- I think often we need to get education in the best schools and the best teachers. Education is the key to many things like achieving goals for a college degree and getting a job suitable for a beautiful and appropriate future. Learning is not a given age. Learning is a lifelong learning and what we learn is never measured by anything.

8- I'm taking 5 courses this semester Soc, Pos, Con, Glg and Uni. I hope to do well in my courses and pass it. There is a note when I'm off the track I feel a scorn of conscience and go back to review myself. Comments tell me to try to achieve my educational goals and not to hesitate but to continue to do whatever the circumstances surrounding me so that there are not obstacles to prevent me from achieving my goals.

9- Any person should take full responsibility for his or her life. Total liability may help me go through with my success plans in my life. It may bring a significant impact on my life since I will approach every outcome in my life from a strong position and improve the results of every circumstance that I may come across. I will be able to take every happening as my fault unlike many people, and this decision will help me come up with solutions to any outcome. I will have the ability to make a lousy result better instead of avoiding them. There are some areas in my life that sometimes I feel there is no choice for them. For instance, losing beloved ones. It is the most shocking thing that I think I can’t come up with a decision over it. The only alternative I can make towards this situation is to admit that everyone is headed there and they can’t come back.  Secondly, is avoiding challenges in life. Everybody undergoes problems, and sometimes I feel I have no choice over them. Since they must be present in my life, I only have an option to accept them and find solutions to them. 

10- Anxiety and stress caused by stress are one of the symptoms or uncomfortable feelings that affect. I have gone through many difficult times in the past, such as family pressures and work pressures. There are several ways to reduce stress. The best way is not to distract the effort between many things but to focus on a particular thing at a specific time and simplify the schedule of your business. When I get stressed in the future I calm myself down as soon as I stop and relax a little or go out to a quiet place.

11- Scenario 1

I remember my senior year in high school as a time when I experienced very high level of motivation. I had almost every kind of support I needed from the concerned people. At the end of the class I would be sitting for the final examination after which I could join college or university. My performance in the final examination would therefore be highly significant to my career because of the grades and the type of institution I would qualify to join. It was a time when I had a lot of work to do and this came with high levels of stress. Considering that I had scored B’s in the other years, I was to maintain if not improve to A. I was in a critical position as colleges do ask for final grade report. A fall in the grades would lock me out of a college I had been dreaming of. The course load was tough and called for thorough commitment. This is in addition to the college applications and the extracurricular activities I was undertakin. The biggest challenge was time management and this meant that I become more self-disciplined. I had the expectation of joining one of the top universities in the country but my limitation was the inability to maintain high levels of concentration where there is much pressure to perform.  I however was at my best in conducting research and applying smart reading skills. The biggest motivation was my teachers, friends and parents. My teachers were so concerned about my weaknesses and they were closer than ever offering all manner of professional help to ensure I am at my best. They were accommodative to my mistakes and helped me to get out of them. My parents and teachers often asked of anything I needed and they were willing to provide all the things I required that would bolster my performance. Friends organized for discussion groups where we sharpened and encouraged each other. The outcome was that I excelled and found myself in my dream university.

Scenario 2

In effort to build my work experience, I went on attachment to a small company for a period of four months. The company was owned by an individual and it had only one hundred permanent employees.  Before joining the company, my expectations were that I would find experienced and knowledgeable people who would equip me with deep insight and skills important for my career. I hoped for four months of intensive learning in different departments of the company with an opportunity to network and establish meaningful relationships. In this case, my motivation could only emanate from the way I could be received by the other employees and their willingness to teach me. It turned out that this was the wrong place for me as I experienced the least of what I expected. I had the lowest level of motivation I have ever experienced as the company employees and management seemed not concerned about attachees. At this point, I was inexperienced in almost everything. I relied on asking questions to go about my tasks and the employees were too engaged to find time for me. No one was assigned to attend to me as a student worker. Occasionally I could find someone to teach me one or two things but the same person could get irritated when approached on the second time. I attributed the behavior of the employees to the work environment where they were overworked because of their little number and the company being small in size did not have enough amounts to meet all its needs. The workers were therefore busy throughout the day and they left in the evening very tired. This had impact on their mood and that is why they were never receptive to inquiries that only seemed to add another load of work. If I did something perfectly, no one was there to commend and if I made a mistake, I received the harshest reproach. I felt as if the best thing to do was to sit down and do nothing. This experience was however very important to me as I learned that one should strive to have inner motivation and go for things instead of waiting for others to bring them. One should not give up and always maintain focus.

Scenario 3

My current level of motivation is high. The motivation is due to a number of factors that have played out to help me realize my expectations. I have over time become more knowledgeable and experienced in many things that I have always desired to know. Friends and lecturers have worked to provide the social support in addition to the learning and research materials that have continually been at my disposal. I have had room to make mistakes and this has been a very important learning point. I have gained the courage to embark on new tasks without the fear of failure. Any improvement in performance is met by congratulatory messages from friend in the teams existing for different subjects. It has been an interactive session whereby my listening and speaking skills have helped me to reap big. I do well socializing with people of different nature and have preference for teams. The challenge has been to strike a balance between social life and academics. Sometimes if one wants to have better results it could call for withdrawal from most of the social activities and give more time to studies. I being a highly social person, it has remained a challenge. It is however an experience where one needs to identify things that motivates them and develops intrinsic motivation. This is because one is responsible for themselves and there is no close follow-up from anyone to find what is good for you. High performance calls for one to develop self-motivation towards their academic goals. Everyone has their own goals and is responsible for whatever motivates them. The effort required for one to perform well is what people would expect and therefore it is reasonable.

12- Behavior is the way in which a person acts or conducts oneself. It is important to uphold good behavior as they promote a positive attitude towards learning and also affects how people treat others. Some behaviors are not as positive as they affect the general character of an individual. They may also lead to poor performance in ones work. There are a number of behaviors that I need to change for next semester. They include: running late for classes, not attending classes that I feel unimportant, raving throughout the weekend, entertaining bad company, and also missing group work. Although they are all very negative there are others that are sensitive like entertaining bad company and missing classes.

     The changes I want to make are to continue maintaining good company. I want to stop hanging out with friends that are influential into negative things. I also want to engage with friends that will impact me or influence me into doing impactful and constructive activities. I want to get rid of bad company due to the consequences I had last semester. I regret keeping wrong friends as I got myself into trouble. I am also guilty that they influenced me in to doing bad things that later did cost me.

     The reasons I want to make these changes are to make a positive change in my life. I want to identify those friends and avoid them. One of the consequences of doing these is I might have a bad reputation around school as they may spread rumors about me or even share my secrets with their other friends. They may also harass me around school. If I do not make the change, I will continue to perform poorly and also make my parents very unhappy. I may also get into serious trouble as last semester when we were caught smoking at the back of the gym. What motivates me to change is my performance. I am more than sure that if I keep off bad company, my performance in school and also at home will definitely change for the best. 

     Currently I am in the contemplation stage. I am decided to change and I am fully aware of the consequences if I don’t change. I have also decided that I will not think of the negative effects of the change. The steps I plan to take in changing are standing up by myself. I will first avoid them by avoiding their company. This will include giving excuses to avoid them and keep the distance. I will then decide the friends that I want and identify them through school functions and also in my environment.  I will engage with them and learn what their values and their self-interests. I will then talk to them and spend time with them to know if we share the same goals and also know how they spend their time. I will start by avoiding my friends and at the same time start identifying new ones.

The way other people can help me are to support me and advise me. I will seek advice from my parents and the guidance counselling office on the way forward.  I will spend time with my positive role models learning about each other. This will by engaging activities that are of similar interest and share incites. I will know my plan is working my parents stop complaining about my behavior and also when my performance in school improves. I hope to socially and emotionally benefit from this change. I also hope to start thinking about making positive changes in my immediate environment.

  Some of the things that could interfere with my plan are if my friends make a positive change in their lives and I am attracted to them. I may also face support challenges that is, I may stop getting what I did get from my friends. However, I will stick to my plan even when so happens by setting next semester’s grade and place them on my reading table so that each time I get setbacks, they will no trigger me.

  If the plan does not work, I will talk to my friends about their behavior and encourage them to change. I will also support them in making positive changes. I will also accompany them to the guidance and counselling  office so that we all receive advice on the same. I will also try and influence them into engaging ourselves in constructive work to meet our goals and objectives
