About the Role:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Management Information Systems Division as an IT Support Analyst located in Oakleigh South, Melbourne.
Reporting to the Management Information Systems Manager and working in a fast paced environment, your main responsibilities will include:
· Carrying out daily checks on essential services.
· Respond to Help Desk requests and escalate issues to higher level management.
· Participate in the planning and roll-out of IT projects.
· Analyze business requirements and work flow, and create analysis reports and system specification document.
· Review technical documents and perform QA tests
· Issue investigation and proactively working to diagnose problems and implement fixes
· Pro-actively working on continuous improvements of all processes, driving the implementation by working with all affected teams / departments
To be successful in this role you will possess:
· 1-2 year work experience in an IT related position
· Must have experience in programming
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels and with service providers.
· Proficient in using Word Processors, Spread Sheets, Powerpoints, Databases, Visio and Web Browsers.
· Demonstrated skills in SQL language with SQL Server & Oracle
· Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
· Experience with ERP system and/or EDI support is desirable but not essential
· Understanding of internet technologies and ecommerce
· Experience in working in a team environment with minimal levels of direct supervision.
