I have made tremendous progress in my research topic since the time I began it. Much has taken place in terms of identifying the appropriate research methodologies, including population sample size, methods of data collection, applicable approach for data analysis as well as best ways of tabulating findings with reference to impacts, importance, security threats as well as privacy issues regarding the use of Bluetooth technology. Besides that, I have also formulated several questions that will be unclicked research questionaries along with the online survey to facilitate effective data collection from a reliable target population. The formulation of questions regarding Bluetooth technology in heart monitoring machines was guided by the emerging trends and popularity of using remote patient monitoring technologies to tackle complex health issues such as hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases (Barrett1 & Noble, 2019). I have so far reviewed and refined my study objectives by clearly defining the research problem and developing an objective or goal-oriented study that aims to achieve something throughout the study period.
Besides that, I have also identified various ways of reducing research biases, reliability as well as the validity of the study findings. Among the strategies I have put in place to ensure that I increase the validity of my research include blinding the experiments on the use of Bluetooth technology in heart monitoring machines, increasing randomization to minimize sample bias along with, the addition of placebo groups to the study (Chouffani, 2017). Lastly, have also learned more about the importance of maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of the research topic. In this aspect, I have a developing mechanism such as encrypting computing files containing search participants' names and other key credentials to keep off unauthorized individuals who may access and use the data otherwise. Also, I have worked on the best approach used to eliminate possible identifiers of the research.
