In 1890, Thomas Edison established the Edison General Electric Co. that provided various business. It was combined with its competitor The Thomson-Houston Company in 1892 and renamed the company as General Electric Company (GE, 2018). Now GE provide broad products and serves customers all over the world in more than 100 countries. The diversified business of GE involved in power, aviation, healthcare, renewable energy, capital etc. In 2017, GE was ranked by Forbes the 13th largest corporation by revenues in the U.S (Forbes, 2018).
