Report: 10% of final grade, Video and Powerpoints: 10% of final grade

Introduction:

Building on your Team Project 1 research, you are now tasked to determine and describe the current domestic and global strategy of the company you have chosen.

1. Undertake a VRIO analysis of this company.

2. What are the stated goals of this company?

3. In terms of Porter’s Five Forces Analysis, what opportunities and threats face this company at present?

4. How would you describe the financial stability of this company?

5. What strategy is the company pursuing in its home market to achieve its goals?

6. What changes or improvements in its strategy would you recommend for the company to pursue in the future, both in its domestic market and in foreign markets?

Scope of Project:

Your analysis should incorporate all concepts covered in Chapters 1-5 inclusive of the text as well as materials covered in class.

Report Format:

The report should follow the following format:

Title Page

Table of Contents

Purpose of the Report

Content of Report

Conclusion

Appendix

Bibliography and Citations

Report Considerations:

-In English to a Canadian reader

-all currency to be expressed in Canadian dollars (with the foreign currency in brackets)

-a professional, well-written 10-12 page report following APA standards

-at least 5 peer reviewed research articles and or articles from respected journals and magazines, periodicals published within the past 24 months.

Action Required:

1. Submit Completed Report into the e-dropbox before the start of the Week 7 class.

2. Prepare and upload a 20 minute video presentation and powerpoints before the start of the Week 7 class.
