The purpose of this study is to investigate the internal and external barriers those students from

low-income African American, Hispanic, Caucasian other low-income populaces encounter that

hinder or prevent them from completing adult education programs. This investigation will not

disclose the types of restrictions that exist for each group but important; discuss how the

constraints affect the students of each cluster.

Thank you for participating in this study. Today, your experiences in adult education will help

identify many types of barriers that exist for students in adult education programs. Your

feedback will help create a pathway to determine resolutions and programs to mitigate barriers

that will benefit all students in adult education regardless of demographic and financial

background.
